Barbara Willibrand Endorsed By Deputy Sheriffs For Antelope Valley High School Board
Barbara Willibrand today announced that the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs (ALADS) has endorsed her election to the Antelope Valley High School Board.
“We are pleased to support Barbara Willibrand for the High School Board,” said ALADS President Steve Remige. “Deputy Sheriffs were very impressed with her long history of leadership in promoting campus safety and higher student disciplinary standards.”
“Gaining the endorsement of our Deputy Sheriffs is a major achievement for my campaign,” declared Willibrand, a former Antelope Valley High School Teacher, Coach, Principal and Assistant Superintendent. “I am encouraged and humbled by the broad base of support that my candidacy is receiving from educators, public safety professionals and community leaders.”
“School safety must be a major focus of the High School Board. A full-time Law Enforcement presence on all our high school campuses will help to provide Antelope Valley students with the secure learning environment they need to succeed,” concluded Willibrand.
